Utilities should be collected from the final machine configuration, operating modes and simultaneity assumptions. High-pressure bottle-blowing air, low-pressure control air, cooling, power, water, drainage, steam and ventilation are separate services with different quality, pressure and connection requirements.

Utility equipment supplies the air, cooling, power or other services required by selected machines. It is not possible to size a complete utility package from one generic line-capacity number; machine schedules and operating assumptions must be consolidated first.
